About Virtual Reading Support
Our new learning landscape has opened many doors, making it easier to get the help your child needs.
Virtual tutoring is perfect for families with concerns about reading progress. Online tutoring offers an accessible schedule and a personalized approach to encourage success in reading for kinder through third grade.

Each student will be assessed on phonemic awareness, High-Frequency Words, decoding, and encoding ability. From there, a plan is developed for targeted, strategic instruction individualized for your learner.
About the Instructor
My name is Chantel Touryan-Schaefer. I have spent the past 20 years in education developing effective methods for reading instruction. I have an MEd in International Education, a California Multiple Subject Credential, and an Advanced Credential in Reading and Literacy. In addition, I am a certified Dyslexia Advocate. I have years of classroom experience working as a teacher and intervention specialist. I am here to create an environment that boosts confidence and encourages success for your child.
I am excited to marry the most recent technology with best practices in reading instruction and look forward to working with your child!
